Macklemore and his wife, Tricia Davis, have been holding onto a secret the past couple of months.

As revealed during a recent interview on Irish radio station Spin 1083, the rapper confirmed that he and his wife recently welcomed their second child together.

During the conversation, hosts Nathan O’Reilly and Nick Karkazis casually asked what Macklemore did for St. Patrick’s day, with Macklemore’s answer certainly catching everyone off guard.

“I spent it in the hospital,” he quipped. “With my brand new daughter who was born right before St. Patrick’s Day.”

The rapper mentioned that he hadn’t shared the news publicly prior to this, humbly prefacing his statement with the phrase, “Queue the air horn.”

While he has not yet revealed his newborn’s name yet and has kept additional details private, fans have already begun taking to social media to congratulate the rapper on the latest addition to his family.

He and his wife’s first child, Sloane Ava Simone, was born in 2015. Macklemore celebrated becoming a father by getting her name tattooed on his chest.

Congrats to the couple!
