Saturday night (April 21) Beyoncé cemented her status as one of the most legendary performers to ever grace the Coachella stage.

After making history last weekend (April 14) as the first woman of color to headline the festival, delivering a career-defining HBCU-themed performance that featured a Destiny’s Child reunion and a 100-member band, many were curious how on earth Queen Bey could top herself for weekend two.

While rumors were abuzz that Beyoncé would be switching up her set, the changes she did make were subtle and cosmetic, further proving that Queen Bey is a master of executing an immaculate show, from the quality of her talents as a vocalist to the precision in her choreography and wardrobe alike. Nobody does it like Queen Bey, that much is certain.

For her closing weekend performance, Beyoncé switched up the colorways of her outfits, donning pinks and silvers, instead of the blacks and yellows like she wore last week. Fans can also purchase the HBCU-themed merch she debuted at Coachella online for the next month before the digital pop-up store is scheduled to close.

Bey’s second set, which was not livestreamed much to the dismay of the #BeyHive, featured a second appearance from her Destiny’s Child family, Solange and her husband JAY-Z, as well as included J Balvin as a special guest, with the latter joining her for a rendition of their collaborative track, “Mi Gente.”
