Although Beyoncé’s career-defining Coachella performance broke a YouTube streaming record for the most viewed festival performance last weekend (April 14), she, unfortunately, won’t have the opportunity to surpass her own record and make history once again this upcoming weekend.
As reported, the second weekend of Coachella will not be available via livestream, meaning that whatever tricks Queen Bey has up her sleeve for her next performance will have to be enjoyed exclusively by those luckily in attendance.
Last weekend, Beyoncé’s performance garnered over 498K simultaneous viewers tuning in from over 232 countries across the world. For those who missed the monumental performance, check out REVOLT TV’s in-depth recap.
Beyoncé is rumored to be performing different songs during her headlining slot this weekend (April 21), but alas, fans at home will have to wait for updates through various social media channels as opposed to tuning in live.
Following her history-breaking performance, which got the entire internet talking, Beyoncé announced the second installment of her Formation Scholars Award program, expanding it to qualifying students at four HBCUs.
