“Ayo I been on,” Nicki Minaj roars on her King Kong-size single, “Chun-Li.” After a few months of silence, the Young Money Queen returns triumphant with not one, but two triumphant records. On a day in which her Kingdom has deemed it #NickiDay, she returns (even) stronger with the solo tracks “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz.”

On the earlier mentioned cut, which is named after the famous female Street Fighter character, the Queens-bred emcee sharpens her lyrical blade over rollicking production from J. Reid, along with her self. She also finds time toss in playful lines like “He keep on dialing Nicki, like the Prince song.” On “Barbie Tingz,” produced by Chevy Music, fans will venture down memory lane as the rapper unleashes vintage mixtape vibes (think “Itty Bitty Piggy” or “I Get Crazy”) over jam-packed quotables. “When it come to stealin’ flows, these birds is fluent / But they stutter when get asked ’bout the queen’s influence,” she raps on the latter. “When it’s clear they bite me, I’m flattered they like me / I don’t wanna check bitches, tell ’em wear their Nikes.”
