UPDATE (April 12): Despite reports earlier this week, VIBE confirmed today that Chidlish Gambino and Tyler, the Creator will, in fact, not be touring together, according to a member of Gambino’s team. The site reports that the rumor “stemmed from a fan account.”

The news that the _Flower Boy_would be added to five bonus dates of Gambino’s national trek first broke on Tuesday (Apr. 10). Multiple sources claimed that Tyler was added to the bill and set to perform at the tour’s stops from San Jose, Calif. to Nashville, Tenn., but the reports stemmed from a fan account.

Although fans’ chance to witness Tyler’s knack for visuals and theatrics along with Gambino’s mythological performances won’t happen at this time, each individual continues to refine their craft in the studio. Tyler released a new song titled“Okra”while Gambino isrumoredto be in the booth. EvenChance the Rapper gave a subtle hint about their highly anticipated joint project.

Even though Donald Glover claims he wasn’t too busy to work on the now-canceled animated Deadpool series, even backing up his statement with a hilarious finale script, his schedule as Childish Gambino undeniably just got a bit more packed.

As reported, the eccentric and critically acclaimed recording artist has shared several exciting updates regarding his forthcoming fall tour, adding a generous handful of new dates and confirming that none other than Tyler, the Creator has been added to the bill as a special guest.

Gambino, who will also be joined by Rae Sremmurd, has added five more dates, including a second stop in Los Angeles. The upcoming North American tour will now conclude on October 12 in Nashville, right before he’ll be traveling to New Zealand for his second PHAROS festival in November.

In addition to making his way out on tour later this year, with fans hopeful that new music will be thrown on the docket as well, the Atlanta creator is also set to appear in Solo: A Star Wars Story and the Lion King live-action remake.

Even though his tweets may suggest he cringes at the word “busy” (and more specifically, the allegation of being “too busy”), it certainly is a blessing that fans will have several more opportunities to catch Childish Gambino in action (while they still can).
