Tekashi 6ix9ine has been keeping his fans on the edge of their seats ever since he rose to viral fame, with this week being no exception.

Throughout the past couple of days, the rapper has garnered all sorts of speculation regarding what is going on, both with his career and his ongoing legal situation.

While he recently hinted at an early retirement from the music game, sharing that he’s “accomplished everything I dreamed of in five months,” the rapper today (April 10) released a new track, “Gotti.”

In tandem with dropping the one-off release, the controversial New York artist wiped his Instagram page clean. After this unexplained act of digital spring cleaning went down, his management team shared an all-caps message that the rapper “won’t be back until further notice,” in turn further puzzling fans.

As reported, 6ix9ine had a court date scheduled for earlier today and the details still remain few and far between.

6ix9ine recently asked fans during a brief livestream to keep him in their prayers because he could be sent back to prison for three years for not fulfilling the terms of his probation, explaining that one never knows which way the judge could rule.

Several stipulations have since surfaced online, with fans speculating that the rapper was a no-show. Additionally, Complex is reporting that the court date itself was postponed, while DJ Akademiks also added that the courts did not receive Tekashi’s completed GED yet (a term of his probation), which could have played a factor in the decision to reschedule.

Considering 6ix9ine loves to keep fans on their toes, this could either be another instance of internet trolling or he may have found himself in some more legal trouble. While details surrounding his ongoing legal situation are still developing, check out Tekashi 6ix9ine’s new single, “Gotti,” below.
