Last summer, Kylie and Kendall Jenner made a fashion (and business) faux pas, finding themselves at the center of controversy and criticism alike.

As previously reported, the sisters chose to release a line of t-shirts that used photoshopped images of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G., with fans instantly calling them out for capitalizing on the artists’ likeness and style for their own personal gain.

The shirts, which were originally intended to be sold for $125, were instantly met with a cease and desist from lawyers for Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, asking them to discontinue selling the shirts. Additionally, photographer Michael Miller, who took the original photo of Tupac, sued the two for copyright infringement. According to recent reports, the Jenner sisters have since “reached a settlement” for the merch misstep.

As reported, the Jenner sisters and Miller have decided to discontinue the lawsuit and both will be paying their own legal fees. It currently remains unclear how much money, if any, was paid for damages relating to the situation.

While facing massive amounts of backlash at the time, the sisters released a statement explaining they obtained permission to use the Tupac photo from a third-party, which likely could have played a role in the lawsuit being settled outside of court.

In related news, Kylie has also recently responded to allegations that Travis Scott and Kanye West are now being managed by Kris Jenner, writing on Twitter that this is simply not true. Kylie and Travis welcomed a baby girl together, Stormi, in February of this year.
