New Music: Rae Sremmurd keep the hot streak alive on Pharrell-featured "Chanel"

  /  04.05.2018

Ever since they teed up their upcoming SR3MM album back in February, with teasers like “T’d Up,” Rae Sremmurd has been high-key shaping up the vibes for the approaching summer season. Last month, the Mississippi sibling rap duo gave us the energetic table shakers with “Powerglide” and “Brxnks Truck,” as well as Swae Lee’s super-chill “Hurt to Look.” The brothers shine again on “Chanel,” which, in the words of DJ Khaled, is another one.

Featuring co-production from Sk8board P, the subtle thumper is an earworm that should sit well in the playlists this, and next, season. Plus, it features Pharrell in both crooning and rapping mode. Altogether, issa winning recipe.
