After turning himself into authorities last week and performing in New York City this past Saturday, Fabolous’ allegations of domestic violence have come through formal charges.

According to a report from Bossip, Fabolous is facing one count of aggravated assault and one count of making terroristic threats, with both as third-degree charges.

Bossip also reports that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office will try the case.

The complaint issued by Fabolous’ longtime partner Emily B mirrors previous reports. The Fab punched her in the head seven times, causing such damage to her teeth that they had to be formally removed. The complaint also accuses him of texting her “inform her that he would hit her in the head with a baseball bat,” and asserts that after he tried to get a handgun that had been removed from his home, “informed the victim that he had a bullet for her.”

If convicted, Fabolous would face three to five years in prison, and fines of up to $15,000 for the aggravated assault charge. He is due back in court later this month.

Days after Fabolous turned himself into police, TMZ released footage of Fabolous arguing with Emily B and her father at his New Jersey home, while holding an unidentified object in his hand. The evening after the footage leaked, he performed at Terminal 5 with Jadakiss for a show to commemorate their 2017 album Friday on Elm Street.
