If you’re wondering about the status of The Weeknd’s “scray” (word to Travis Scott) next album, check out his Instagram page. Like he usually does before unleashing a new “chapter,” the singer wiped his Instagram clean a few months back and since then, has been drip-feeding status updates about the upcoming record — that is when he isn’t hanging with Oprah and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Between the months of February and what’s currently left of March, Weeknd has been giving his 16.7 million followers a look inside his studio, posting silent videos from the booth, photos of the instruments being used as well as the vibes that are influencing his next “chapter.” As far as the latter goes, he recently posted a photo of Charles Bukowski’s classic “Love Is a Dog from Hell” — can you feel the dark, twisted vibes coming?

As of last week, the singer revealed that he is in the mastering stage of his follow-up to 2016’s mega hit LP Starboy, and the news arrived after TMZ shared a clip of the XO boss on the set of a new music video.

So as the wait continues — all while Travis Scott’s epic tweet plays in the back of our minds — relive the last few weeks in Weeknd’s (silent) album updates below.
