Bankroll Fresh was fatally shot in Atlanta two years ago, almost to the date, in March 2016. While his tragic passing stunned the hip-hop community, members of his crew and fans alike are dedicated to honoring and preserving his legacy.

Most recently, the Street Money Worldwide imprint has shared a new single featuring posthumous contributions from Fresh. The song likely will be appearing on his forthcoming album, but the crew has yet to formally announce details or share a release date.

The track, “Can’t Catch Me,” features the Atlanta rapper swapping verses with Street Money Boochie over a GMONEYMADEIT production.

As his dedicated fanbase can recall, a year after Bankroll Fresh was killed, with over 50 shell casings reportedly found at the scene, his childhood friend No Plug admitted that he shot the emerging rapper in self-defense. To date, No Plug has not been charged in connection to the shooting.

While we wait for updates regarding his new project, check out Bankroll Fresh’s latest posthumous offering, below.
