Kodak Black removed from solitary confinement

The rapper has been transferred back into general population.

Last week, Kodak Black was reportedly placed in solitary confinement in Broward County Jail in Florida, where he is facing time for charges stemmed from his arrest earlier this year during a home raid. Now it has been confirmed that the rapper has been transferred back into general population.

Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, noted the transfer to Pitchfork in a statement. In an email to Pitchfork, Cohen wrote, “After we objected to the move and requested they provide details about how many other inmates were punished in a similar way, the Sheriffs office decided to remove him from solitary confinement.”

Kodak also recently had three charges dropped from his case and pleaded not guilty to the outstanding charges of weapons and drug possession charges.
