#SXSW2018 | REVOLT House celebrates 25 years of '36 Chambers' with Ghostface Killah and the Wu-Tang Family
Rico Nasty, Freewifi, YBN Almighty Jay, Duckwrth and more also took the stage.
When it comes to SXSW, I am no novice. I’ve been running through 6th street with my woes in Austin, Texas, for the last six years. Every year is something different, you never really know what to expect when it comes to the annual festival. One thing I can say for sure, is that on Wednesday (March 14), the hottest place to be was the REVOLT House. Now, I’m not just saying that because I work for REVOLT, the line literally stretched from out the door to around the corner.
With rising artist such as FreeWiFi and Rico Nasty touching the stage, and Wu-Tang Clan closing out the show, I’m sure I need to say less about why this showcase ended up being a top attraction. I had a perfect set up for the night, I was stationed on the rooftop interviewing artist as they left the stage for a REVOLT House SXSW recap segment dropping next week — stay tuned! In the meantime, check out these dope photos below.
Right before I dove into the REVOLT House festivities, I sat down with Teddy Riley and Andre Harrell for an in-depth interview. These industry vets took the stage to speak on a panel about New Jack Swing. Be on the look out for that interview as well!
Lots of great content on the way! Stay tuned to REVOLT.tv for more exclusive SXSW coverage.
