2 Chainz, YG and Offset are having a memorable weekend, spending quality and creative time with the people that matter most to them.

On Friday (March 9) the creators of the collaborative track, “PROUD,” which appears on 2 Chainz’s The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It EP, got together in Atlanta to film an accompanying visual, enlisting the help of each of their mothers.

“Yesterday was amazing, I wish my pops was here but I know he looking down,” 2 Chainz shared on Instagram, reflecting on the experience. “[It’s] the most genuine smile I’ve had all year.”

YG, who previously enlisted the help of his mother Shonee Jackson on his album My Krazy Life, also reflected on the casting choice, adding, “Our mommas went brazy yesterday.”

Fittingly, the track doubles as an ode to the women who raised them, such as with the chorus explaining, “I ain’t tryna let my mama down (down, down, down) / Yeah, I’m just tryna make my mama proud, yeah (proud, yeah).”

Needless to say, fans can’t wait for this one to drop. Take a look at some behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of YG, Offset and 2 Chainz’s “PROUD” collab featuring each of their moms, below.
