The Atlanta artist vocalized how he wasn’t the happiest when it came to the response of his debut album, Teenage Emotions, explaining that he felt the masses “didn’t understand” his vision for the project. With Lil Boat 2, the Quality Control Music artist looks to settle the score and showcase how he has been tirelessly working to refine his sound.

The tape arrives ahead of his joint effort with Migos’ Takeoff, which Lil Boat teased at the top of the year during a session on Instagram Live. While he admittedly says he’s been laying low and working on his music, the rapper also helped the youth see a screening of Black Panther for free, alongside Offset and Travis Scott.
