Usher and his wife, Grace Miguel, have announced that they are amicably splitting after two years of marriage. The pair reportedly has been together for nearly a decade.
The former couple issued an official statement speaking on the matter via US Weekly, explaining that the decision to legally separate was a mutual one.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” the two said in the statement. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
It has also been reported that the pair has been separated for a couple of months now. They first began dating in 2009 after Usher split from his first wife, Tameka Foster, with whom he has two children.
Following the news of the split, Miguel shared a series of positive quotes alluding to her recent personal decision, further reiterating that the split was an amicable one.
