Cardi B and her fiancé Offset continued to get to the bag this weekend. Last night, Migos performed on Saturday Night Live and on Friday, accompanied by co-principle of Quality Control Pierre “Pee” Thomas—the label where Migos are the cornerstones—Cardi touched down on Charlotte, NC’s World club.

It was definitely one of the most anticipated parties of CIAA Weekend, a weekend where basketball teams from historically Black colleges go at it in a single-elimination tournament. Surrounding the games are a plethora of parties and events where everyone from Bell Biv DeVoe, Dru Hill, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Moneybagg Yo, Choppa Zoe, YFN Lucci, 21 Savage, Lil Boosie and Tank put on for the fans.

Going into the World nightclub, you could see women on line rapping the chorus to Cardi’s “Bodak Yellow” into their phone and going live on Instagram. The anticipation was heavy.

Inside, the night’s host warmed the crowd up as DJ Infamous spun hit records.

“Cardi B is the truth,” Kenny Burns said in the VIP with Nick Storm from Cîroc. “She represents herself how she wants to be represented. You gotta respect that.”

A few minutes later, Beanie Sigel came through and the Philadelphia lyrical legend held court with his entourage at a table next to Burns’.

“I love anybody that grinds from the ground up,” Sig told REVOLT. “Gotta represent for Cardi.”

Sig was so into the vibe, Infamous enticed him to perform a brief set. “Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)” was followed by “Roc The Mic” and “What We Do.” After playing a few more bangers from up top, such as DMX’s “Ruff Ryders Anthem,” he then went into a Young Jeezy set commenced by the Shawty Lo “Dey Know” remix.

Cardi arrived a little before 2AM and Inf introduced her. Although the Bronx-born star didn’t actually perform on the mic, she sang along to her songs as the crowd yelled the words. G-Eazy’s “No Limit” and Migos’ “Motor Sport” were followed by her own blockbusters “Bodak Yellow” and “Bartier Cardi.” Bruno Mars’ “Finesse” remix capped the set.

“It’s a bomb ass night,” Cardi told REVOLT as she was leaving. “Ciaa!!!! Oowwwh.”
