Fat Trel issues statement that Rick Ross is "not on life support" but has been hospitalized

Fat Trel has issued a statement speaking on Rick Ross’ current condition.

Taking to Instagram, the MMG artist shared that his close friend, collaborator and label boss is currently in the hospital but is “not on life support,” as TMZ’s previous report suggests.

“JUS TALKED 2 MY BIG HOMIE… HE GOOD… HE IN DA HOSPITAL BUT HE IS NOT ON ‘LIFE SUPPORT’ … HE GOOD,” the rapper posted on Instagram, alongside a photo of Ross.

While fans and friends of Ross are anxiously awaiting more information, artists such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne and Missy Elliott, among others, have all taken to social media to send their prayers up in support of the beloved music mogul.

Rick Ross was reportedly hospitalized early Thursday morning (March 2) after an unidentified caller alerted police and emergency authorities that the hip-hop heavyweight was found to be “unresponsive” in his Miami home.

According to earlier reports, someone in his Miami-area mansion called 911 to report that Ross was “breathing heavy” and “unresponsive” around 3:34 AM ET.

At the time of this report, REVOLT has reached out to Ross’ camp for an official update on the rapper’s medical condition. His representatives have neither confirmed nor denied the reports that he has been hospitalized.
