SZA's 'Ctrl' goes platinum

  /  03.01.2018

It was just yesterday that SZA was reflecting with GQ about being shut out of this year’s Grammys despite being the ceremony’s most nominated woman of 2018.

But that fleeting moment will pale in comparison to this lifetime achievement. According to SZA’s label, Top Dawg Entertainment, Ctrl was just certified platinum by the RIAA upon the LP earning one million sales or more.

Previously, both “Love Galore” and “The Weekend” earned the same shiny status, and then went double-platinum, while “Broken Clocks” and “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” have gone gold.

TDE took to Twitter to celebrate, writing:

Congrats!
