While Dave East may have just concluded his #Paranoia2 tour earlier this week with a sold-out show at Irving Plaza in New York City, he’s far from ready to take a break or slow things down.
Ahead of the weekend, the Harlem rapper shared a new track, “Peter Pan,” which features production by Mr. Authentic.
The new track shows off his storytelling lyrical prowess, detailing the story of a man who is mentally a lot younger than he really is (“He 37, think he 22”) and is faced with having to grow up and “hustle smarter.”
At this time, it is unclear if the song will be included on a larger project, or if it will remain as a one-off gift to fans.
Take a listen to Dave East’s latest, “Peter Pan,” below.
