Adidas’ 747 Warehouse St has proven to one hundred percent be a massive highlight of this year’s NBA All-Star weekend. The event, which was exclusively livestreamed by REVOLT TV, was full of surprises, with one, in particular, getting everyone talking.
Saturday night (Feb. 17), none other than the recently elusive Kanye West was in the building, making a surprise guest appearance during Kid Cudi’s performance and even hopping on the mic himself.
Much to the delight of fans and those watching at home, Yeezy pulled up to perform his Life of Pablo cut, “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” with both Cudder and ‘Ye gracing the stage and riling up the crowd. Naturally, those in attendance were on clout 9.
West’s two-minute cameo marks the first time in four months since he last graced a stage, doing so during a Kid Cudi concert back in November 2017, while his longtime collaborator was performing at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom.
That first reunion also doubled as the first time ‘Ye rocked the stage in nearly a year, following the cancelation of his remaining Saint Pablo tour dates back in 2016. Recently, West reportedly settled the $10 million lawsuit against the tour’s insurers that came out of those canceled dates.
While we still don’t have a new update regarding West and Cudi’s rumored joint album, at the very least, this performance is another subtle indication that the two just might be up to something after all.
