Detroit native and New York transplant J. Cobb has shared a new track, with its accompanying visual juxtaposing a day in the life of the rapper himself—featuring footage from both of the cities that helped make him—with the lyrics that make up the emotive anthem, “Promise.” Of the track, J. Cobb notes, “This song is for everyone trying to take a brick from my building in hopes of selling it back to me.
