Taking to Twitter, the Atlanta heavyweight shared a video announcing his fifth studio album, with the words of the project written across a massive blimp.
The unconventional marketing method further speaks to 2 Chainz creativity, such as how he promoted his 2017 album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, with a house painted pink in Atlanta.
The news of the forthcoming project, to be titled Rap or Go to the League, arrives following the release of the rapper’s surprise EP, The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It, which was released just over a week ago.
“With the height of racial tensions across America I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brain washing formulas used in my community,” 2 Chainz says, speaking on the album’s inspiration. “This album not only touches on those who did succeed through entertainment but those who didn’t My fifth solo studio album and project that shows continued growth, success, and motivation which is playing a role in the shift of the trap paradigm.”
