G Herbo and Lil Uzi Vert’s new single is a testament to the fact that you never know quite who is listening.

Thursday (Feb. 15) the pair’s collaborative track, “Everything,” was given the remix treatment, with none other than Chance the Rapper contributing a new guest verse after he expressed interest in supporting his fellow Chicagoan off the strength alone.

“[Chance] just hit me out of the blue, like ‘Don’t shoot the video to EVERYTHING w/o me bro,’” G Herbo said in a statement, speaking on how the remix came to be. “I’m like shit, better yet, you might as well just go crazy on it. And that’s what he did. Real shit, it’s always been love between me and Chance, since we both started, we always supported each other. His ass is really like the unofficial mayor here Lbs.”

The original version appeared on G. Herbo’s 2017 debut album, Humble Beast, with the new remix appearing on the project’s deluxe edition, which is set to drop tomorrow (Feb. 16).
