This sponsored editorial is part of a paid partnership between Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and REVOLT Media & TV for Art, Beats & Lyrics.
Back in December, REVOLT TV headed to Miami, FL. to join forces with Art, Beats and Lyrics, the traveling nine-city tour presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey that aims to celebrate both music and the arts community.
Upon partnering with the whiskey brand, we selected two influencers, rapper and ‘I Am Other’ artist Bia and Miami-based visual artist Troy Simmons, to capture the event—which boasted multiple bars and VR stations, social and photo booths and a barbershop activation—from their POVs.
Equipped with a camera, Bia chatted with the DJs of the evening, Mannie Fresh and Wally Sparks, on creative expression, the co-existence of art and music, and the “gumbo”-like culture of Miami.
Meanwhile, Simmons caught up with the featured visual artists of Art, Beats and Lyrics, Dubelyoo and Matthew Curran, to talk about their own sources of inspiration.
Follow @ArtBeatsandLyrics and @JackHoney_US for upcoming dates and cities, and join the conversation using #ABLMIA2017 and #JackHoney.
