DJ Khaled and his family are mourning the loss of his fiancée Nicole Tuck’s younger brother, who was fatally shot in a Bronx apartment on Sunday (Feb. 4).

As reported, Jonathan Tuck was watching the Super Bowl when an attempted robbery took place, with a familial source explaining that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was originally reported that the altercation was a result of a drug deal gone wrong, a detail sources close to the situation are saying was inaccurately reported.

Tuck tried to defend himself after the situation turned violent, resulting in the tragic murder. He was 25 at the time of his passing and is survived by his 2-year-old daughter, Gianna. Those close to him have shared with various media that he will be remembered as a loving and devoted family man who was also passionate about sports, as exemplified by his past experience playing defensive end for the Bronx Colts.

DJ Khaled was in Minneapolis for the Super Bowl when Tuck was murdered, as documented on his social media.

The beloved DJ and his fiancée shared a statement with TMZ, saying, “Our family appreciates the condolences from loved ones and friends… we are requesting privacy during this difficult time.”

REVOLT TV sends it condolences to the Khaled family and will update this story as more details emerge.
