Iggy Azalea has surprised fans with a new offering, this time landing a highly sought-after guest appearance from Migos’ own Quavo.

The new track, “Savior,” which was produced by Manhun Glow and Cirkut, opens up with an auto-tuned interpolation of Lisa Stansfield’s 1989 classic, “All Around the World.”

“I wrote it at a really heavy period in my life where I’d had a lot of changes that had happened overnight,” she shared with iHeartRadio, speaking of the song. “I’d had a big breakup, and my career wasn’t going well, and I sort of found myself in this space where everything that I was used to, just my day to day routine, had abruptly stopped. And I just didn’t know how to get my life back together, or what my life looked like with all of these changes, and how to get a routine going again, and just how to get my happiness back and feeling normal. So that was the space that I was in when I wrote this song.”

She also explained that because of that deeply personal space, the song wasn’t the easiest to release and share with fans.

“It’s a hard one to put out there, I think, because sometimes it takes me back to that place, which was so heavy,” she added. “But it also makes me really happy when I hear it because I figured it out for myself.”

The track, which is set to appear on Iggy’s forthcoming Surviving the Summer album, will also be featured in a Super Bowl commercial later today. Money moves ahead!
