Months after Suge Knight’s fiancée took a plea deal to avoid going to jail, it turns out she will be seeing the inside of a prison cell after all.

As reported, Toi-Lin Kelly, 37, was sentenced to three years in jail for a probation violation that was linked to Knight’s pending murder trial. According to reports, Kelly was found guilty of helping Knight violate a 2016 court order that prevented him from making phone calls to anyone besides his legal counsel.

Per the Los Angeles Times, Kelly helped Knight arrange interviews with the production team behind a BET documentary about Death Row Records, a move that directly violated the terms of the court order against Knight, as well as directly violated the terms of her own probation.

She was previously ordered not to communicate with Knight as a result of her own probation deal, one that arrived after she was accused to selling surveillance footage connected to Knight’s murder to TMZ for $55,000. She pleaded no contest and was ordered to pay $55,000 in restitution, serve 100 hours community service, serve five years probation and have no contact with Knight as part of the plea agreement.

According to new reports, Kelly put money in the accounts of the inmates who helped Knight make the calls to the two producers/journalists, with prosecutors arguing, by way of using emails sent between Kelly and one of the filmmakers, that the money was used to help coordinate the unlawful communication.

Knight’s fiancée was also reportedly using text messages between her and Tony Moore, a private investigator who had been aiding Knight’s define, to relay messages back to Knight, violating the terms of her plea agreement.

Last week, two of Knight’s former attorneys were arrested on allegations that they were “accessories after the fact ” and were later released. Suge Knight’s trial is scheduled for April.
