While the Grammys may have seen their last-ever JAY-Z appearance, after snubbing his eight-time nominated album 4:44 this past weekend, the music mogul is already keeping it moving.
As reported, JAY’s company, S. Carter Enterprise, has recently secured a new trademark for the name “Hovino,” in turn inspiring all sorts of chatter about what the legendary MC-turned-businessman is up to next.

Per E! News, the paperwork surrounding the reported business move claims that it will be used for “goods and services” related to “restaurant and café services, carry-out restaurant services, pubs, cocktail lounges, wine bars and more.”
While JAY-Z already owns the 40/40 Club franchise, perhaps this move speaks to the greater mission to keep building his empire.
Additionally, TMZ recently reported that JAY is also looking to expand his Roc Nation clothing brand, Paper Planes. According to their report, Hov may be looking to add athletic gym bags, tour books, jewelry and more into the mix, with the paperwork stating he’s looking to use the brand in a variety of capacities, such as selling both online and in department stores.
Perhaps Blue Ivy will let JAY-Z and Beyoncé actually celebrate this deal when it all comes to fruition.
