Migos claims that Joe Budden owes them a percentage of his reported deal with REVOLT

The ‘Culture’ rappers have some words about the former ‘Everyday Struggle’ co-host.

  /  01.20.2018

The ongoing saga between Migos and Joe Budden has inspired a handful of memes over the past year, with the Culture rappers seemingly not quite ready to leave their differences in the past just yet.

During a new interview on Beats 1 Radio, the trio discussed their forthcoming third studio album, Culture 2, with the conversation naturally transitioning to focusing on the former Everyday Struggle co-host.

During the recent sit-down with host Ebro Darden, the group’s past tension with Budden came up, leaving fans to decide for themselves whether the new commentary is a sign that the air has been cleared or if the beef will be extending its shelf-life.

As previously reported, the Slaughterhouse veteran left Complex late last year. During his tenure there, he and the Migos experienced one of the most talked about moments of 2017, when an interview didn’t quite go as planned at the BET Awards. The heated incident has since been parodied in a video for “Ice Tray,” the diss track against Budden by Quavo and Lil Yachty, during which there is a play on the talk show name, Old Rappers Struggling, among other shots fired.

Burden’s departure instantly sparked rumors that he signed a reported $5 million contract to join REVOLT TV. While it appears as though he and Sean “Diddy” Combs are still in talks together, Migos feels that they played an integral role in the situation, especially if the contract amount is what it is rumored to be.

“We gon’ keep it on the low, Joe,” says Takeoff, after suggesting Budden owes them a percentage of his new reported deal.

Quavo then chimes in, adding, “He worldwide word right now. You can’t beat Joe, can’t nobody ever beat Joe.”

While the group goes back and forth with one another, reflecting on the tension between them, Takeoff continues to share what’s on his mind.

“The difference is, we want to see him win, he doesn’t want to see us win,” he explained.

Quavo, however, doesn’t quite agree.

“Nah, my boy out there want to see the gang win,” Quavo explains. “He know we’re coming with that flame. You know what I’m saying? There ain’t no hard feelings with Joe.”

Check out a recent segment on The Breakfast Club during which the REVOLT Chairman himself comments on the recent rumors he’s working on securing a new partnership with Budden in the clip above, and see Migos’ recent sit-down with Ebro, below.
