It’s 2018 and the 50 Cent vs. Ja Rule narrative remains a thing.
Almost 15 years since Get Rich or Die Tryin‘ arrived and infamously toppled Ja Rule and Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. empire, the rap feud between the Queens-bred stars is alive and still kicking. It all started earlier this week, when 50 Cent appeared on “Big Boy in the Morning” to discuss his new film “Den of Thieves.”
During the interview, Ja’s name was brought up after actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. recalled the infamous 2002-2003 rivalry. Asked about the current status of their relationship and what would happen if they encountered each other in 2018, Fif replied, “I’ma put him to bed.” That said, Ja hopped on Twitter this morning to respond with a jab of his own.
From there, the time capsule was cracked and out came the rap feud we just can’t seem to escape. Of course with this being Flashback Friday, fans, too, soaked in the nostalgia.
After tweeting his initial message, Ja continued with his fully loaded barbs, calling out Fif for infamous moments in their storied rivalry.
