Kodak Black is back behind bars, facing a slew of new charges.

The Florida rapper, born Dieuson Octave, was arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Thursday after being issued a search warrant at his home residence. According to records, the 20-year-old is facing charges such as grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation.

Before law enforcement entered his home, the rapper was broadcasting on Instagram Live and in the video, he can be heard arguing about whether or not he needed to turn in his cellphone to authorities.

This latest arrest comes after a tumultuous series of events over the last two years. In 2016, he was arrested twice in Broward County for charges such as possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, fleeing from law enforcement and, in a separate arrest, armed robbery and false imprisonment. In 2017, he was arrested in February on a probation violation and was sentenced to 364 days in jail. However, after taking part in an early-release program, he was released on house arrest. The rapper was then accused of sexual battery; sentenced to 120 days in a Florida County jail after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges; transferred to a South Carolina jail to face the sexual battery charges; released after posting the $100K bond; and then banned from South Carolina.

Earlier this week, Kodak released the music video for his buzzing single “Roll In Peace.” Stay tuned to REVOLT for more updates.
