Dame Dash has dedicated the last couple of years to putting his all into his upcoming movie, Honor Up, with the film finally set to hit select theaters next month, beginning on Feb. 16.

The film, which was executive produced by Kanye West, follows the story of director Dame Dash’s character OG, in a crime-laden saga that tests his dedication to his family and his street hustle alike. Per the film’s synopsis, this creates “a deadly underworld where beats pound as bullets fly and even outlaws must live by the code.”

Joining the cast are the likes of Cam’ron, Daniel Dnieko, Stacey Dash, Murda Mook, Smoke DZA, Michael Rispoli, Nicholas Turturro and Cam’s ex, JuJu, among others.

Per Dame, he and West switched up their usual work relationship, with West handling more of the administrative work for the film while he focused on putting together the creative concepts and writing the storyline.

Taking to Instagram to share an update (and a rare smile from ‘Ye), Dame wrote, “Just showed my brother and executive producer the final version of #honorup. Wanted his honest opinion cause he’s snotty like me ..and he loved it #staytuned @damondashstudios #honorup in theaters…February.”
