Snoop Dogg is here to help motivate fans to work toward their 2018 resolutions, sharing a new track designed to do exactly that.
For his latest, “Motivation,” Snoop helps encourage others while working out in the gym and rhyme-singing mantras meant to inspire over a Ben Billions production. It’s not your typical offering from the West Coast icon, in turn showing how Snoop’s always got something up his sleeve.
The track, which arrives after lending his talents to Bobby V’s new single, “Lil Bit,” is the veteran rapper’s first solo offering of the new year, one that he is dedicating to pro-athletes as exemplified by the footage of the NBA and NFL teams scattered throughout the visual and a couple of shoutouts to the “champs” who inspire him.
In addition to helping others get motivated, the rapper is also looking to focus his efforts on the youth. Taking to social media, Snoop recently announced that he is looking to raise money to help children in the LA area see Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther film for free. He explains he wants to help provide an opportunity for kids to “learn about a real black super hero.”
Snoop for President 2020, anyone?
