Last summer, we saw Barack Obama help induct JAY-Z into the Songwriters Hall of Fame; now, the two will (indirectly) cross paths again as guests on David Letterman’s new Netflix show.
The former Late Show host is coming out of retirement on January 12 with his new series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. And its first guest will be none other than our former POTUS. It will mark Obama’s first television talk show appearance since leaving office.
The six-episode, hour-long talk show will air one episode per month and is also inviting JAY-Z to the stage.
Rounding out the rest of the series will be George Clooney, Howard Stern, Tina Fey, and Malala Yousafzai.
