Cardi B’s been making history for months.
She’s the first female rapper in nearly 20 years to go to No.1 without any other featured credited artist. She was the year’s second-most Googled musician. And in November, she became the first woman to have her first three song entries land simultaneously within the Top 10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Now, she’s achieved something similar, but not just on the aforementioned genre-specific chart.
Cardi B has now become the first rapper (and third act ever) to have their first three song entries land simultaneously in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart; that list spans all genres.
G-Eazy’s “No Limit,” on which she guests, sits at No.4. Migos’ “MotorSport,” where she does the same, sits at No.7. And her own “Bodak Yellow” hit sits at No.10.
The only other acts to have achieved this are Ashanti—who managed the feat in 2002 with “Foolish,” Fat Joe’s “What’s Luv?,” and Ja Rule’s “Always On Time”—and The Beatles.
Elsewhere on the Hot 100 are Cardi’s “Bartier Carti” at No.14 and her Ozuna collaboration, “La Modelo,” at No.52. She took to social media to celebrate.
