Yesterday, it was announced that the felony charges against jailed rapper XXXTentacion, stemming from his 2016 domestic violence case, had reached a total of 15—all related to witness tampering and witness harassment.

However, TMZ is now reporting that XXX will be released from jail today (December 20) and placed on “very restrictive house arrest conditions” for the next two months.

The rapper’s attorney David Bogenschutz told the site that the rapper will be allowed to fulfill contractual obligations, including visiting a local recording studio, and that once the house arrest is complete, X’s team will work to get him released on bond as they prepare for his case.

X is reportedly not permitted to have any contact with the case’s victims or witnesses.
