While Eminem has been in the spotlight for a vast majority of the past couple months, leading up to the drop of his ninth studio album, Revival, which dropped this past Friday (Dec. 15), the rapper also has been gearing up to give back to the youth in Detroit in a massive and unique way.

As reported, Eminem has confirmed that he will be making one pair of his mega-limited edition Air Jordan 4 Encore sneakers available to the public, with all proceeds going to his foundation.

The shoe, of which only 23 pairs were made, was originally gifted to Eminem’s close friends and family back in 2005. It has since gone on to be one of the most coveted colorways, with some resellers landing upwards of $70,000 for the sneakers.

In partnership with online retailer StockX, Jordan Brand and Eminem are teaming up to sell the highly sought after deadstock, with the money raised set to be donated to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which focuses on providing resources and building community with disadvantaged youth in Detroit and across other cities in his home state.

In addition to raffling off the opportunity to win one of the rare sneakers via a $10 donation ticket, each entry also gives donors the chance to win a variety of other prizes, including other sneakers from the veteran rapper’s prized personal collection. The auction period will close on Dec. 20, with Eminem raising over $77,000 so far.
