George Zimmerman threatens JAY-Z and crew for producing documentary about Trayvon Martin

His threat is quite specific…

George Zimmerman, the man acquitted on charges of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in 2012, is making headlines again this weekend, following making a threat against JAY-Z during a recent interview.

During a conversation with The Blast, Zimmerman expresses how he is upset over the making of what will be a 6-part docu-series titled Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. It was announced earlier this year that JAY-Z and the Weinstein Company are producing the documentary series together.

Per Zimmerman, the production crew, which is being led by executive producer Michael Gasparro, made unannounced visits to his parents and uncles’ homes in Florida, in hopes of capturing them on camera. While Zimmerman did not specify if any of his family members participated in on-camera interviews, he did state that the production crew “harassed” his family, later refusing to elaborate how.

During the interview, Zimmerman tells The Blast he wants to “beat JAY-Z and feed him to alligators.”

As if that wasn’t graphic and repulsing enough, Zimmerman continued, making a chilling reference that alludes to the killing of Martin, adding, “I know how to beat and handle people who f—k with me, I have since February 2012.”

At the time of this report, JAY-Z nor any of those involved with the making of the documentary have responded to Zimmerman’s commentary.

The docu-series is currently in production and is based off the book, “Suspicion Nation,” by attorney Lisa Bloom. The seres will chronicle Martin’s life, the shooting by George Zimmerman and later, his acquittal and the nation’s response.
