Rolling Loud is taking place as we speak in San Bernardino, Calif., and of course, two of the most anticipated acts taking the stage tonight rock in the same clique: Quality Control’s Migos and Lil Yachty.
“It’s a blessing. We work hard. We grinding, doing our thing,” Migos’ Offset recently told REVOLT TV about the love him and his crew have been getting. “We the wave, we the culture.”
Speaking of Culture, the sequel to their 2017 LP of the same name is dropping soon.
“Culture 2 on the way,” Takeoff promised. “Quality Control, we just working.”
“We been in the lab for two years. We don’t fuck around,” Quavo added.
All three Migos joined Lil Yachty and the rest of their QC musical family on Quality Control: Control The Streets, Vol. 1 which came out earlier this month.
“It’s a different style though,” Yachty would tell REVOLT minutes later about his rhymes on the project. “I’m just trying something new and we’ll see how it goes.”
Next year, Yachty says look out for his Lil Boat 2 album and more projects outside of music.
“I’m trying to branch out and go everywhere,” the teen millionaire revealed.
Migos are also trying to expand. Their ticket sales by playing to their growing fan base in bigger sized venues when they headline a 2018 Tour.
“Arenas!” Quavo said. “20,000 [people].”
