Future settles $10 million lawsuit with Rocko

  /  12.14.2017

It’s been a long time coming, but the heat between Future and Rocko may have finally cooled.

Six years ago, Rocko signed Future to his A1 Recordings label, where the rapper was enlisted to release six albums. But in 2012, Fewtch inked a major joint venture deal with Epic Records, which also included a home for his own label, Freebandz Entertainment.

According to Rocko, he was left out of the multi-million dollar advance Future received. He then sued him for $10 million. He also sought to have the earnings Fewtch earned on the ‘Nobody Safe’ tour be put in escrow, placed aside for the lawsuit. Future countersued, claiming his deal with Rocko was never exclusive.

However, the two men have now settled out of court, according to TMZ.

The site reports that court documents filed by both parties requested a dismissal of the case, and that a source is claiming Future has to give Rocko a 7-figure payout. Rocko’s lawyers reportedly said he’s happy with the “very successful result.”
