DJs are a cornerstone of hip-hop culture, but they don’t get enough credit – and the Global Spin Awards aims to put a stop to that. The annual award show honors the best, and most impactful DJs in the industry.
DJ Khaled, Calvin Harris, and Metro Boomin highlight this year’s nominees with six, five and four nominations each, respectively. Timbaland and Jermaine Dupri both garnering honors for their long, storied careers: Timbo will accept the Lifetime Achievement Award, and JD will be honored with the Breaking Barriers Award.
