Less than two weeks after being announced as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live, SZA took the stage last night (December 9) to perform two favored cuts from Ctrl.

Backed by a gospel choir for both “The Weekend” and “Love Galore,” she also delivered the latter’s still-unreleased additional verse.

The singer received praise from fellow celebrities, including Karrueche Tran, Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui, and journalist-turned-MC Rob Markman.
