While Chris Brown has in the spotlight essentially ever since making his self-titled debut in 2005, this year proved to be one of the most successful entries in the R&B singer’s career to date.

Impressively, in 2017, Breezy has been rewarded a grand total of 40 plaques by the RIAA and also generated over 74.5 million in album and single sales, with the singer taking to Instagram to not-so-humbly point out his many victories this year.

“40 PLAQUES THIS YEAR!” he wrote, captioning a slideshow of screenshots highlighting the details behind the certifications. ” Today the RIAA released 23 more certified platinum and gold plaques that included 12 x multi platinum singles. 74.5 million single and album sales just in the US. #TEAMBREEZY.”

Interestingly enough, there wasn’t just one lone stand-out track from Brown this year, with the singer instead releasing a strategically massive quantity of material, such as with his 45-track collection, Heartbreak on a Full Moon.

After all, the numbers don’t lie.
