The promised collaborative album between Travis Scott and Quavo has been a long time coming and we’ve just received an update. But let’s first take a look back at all the teases, shall we?
In December 2016, during an episode of his Beats 1 radio show wav., Scott revealed that a “Quavo and Travis album” was in the works.
Then, in March of this year, he teased the project again by tweeting: “Dnt worry that huncho x cactus jack Coming.”
So in May, in premature anticipation, REVOLT TV revisited the collaborative duo’s hot streak with a timeline.
Later that month, La Flame promised the joint effort again, telling GQ: “The Quavo album is coming soon.”
In September, Quavo said during an interview with Montreality: “The album with Travis Scott is going to drop real real soon…we got like 20 records together.”
And later that month, he hopped on a remix of Scott’s “BUtterfly Effect,” further fueling the hype’s fire.
Now, we finally have a new update. According to a tweet shared by Quavo yesterday (November 29), the album is in one of the final stages of the recording process. He wrote: “All Files shipped off for Mixing. 👀.”
It’s only a matter of time. Rubs hands together.
