The South Central, Los Angeles native puts on for his city.

  /  11.30.2017

JAG has been consistently building a following based on bars alone, with the Los Angeles native first beginning his grind as an emerging artist nearly a decade ago.

As the popular idiom goes, it takes ten years to get the one year that changes your life, with 2017 bringing JAG many earned blessings. After signing with the legendary West Coast imprint, Priority Records, the South Central-made emcee today (Nov. 29) releases his debut album, Dalton Ave.

JAG, who has previously worked with the likes of Crooked I, Cassidy, Styles P, James Fauntleroy and Dave East to name a few, has built a reputation for crafting a sound that both draws from elements of classic hip-hop and melodic R&B alike, with his new project showcasing his tried-and-true versatility.

The new project, which spans an ambitious 18 tracks, features an array of special guests, including Bizness Boi, DJ Swish, Childish Major and Kota The Friend, and marks a strong introduction as he continues to expand his ever-growing fanbase.

Take a listen to JAG’s long-awaited debut album, Dalton Ave, below.
