East London singer-songwriter Rachel Foxx mesmerizes us with her new visual, “Happen to Me.” Exuding a melodic vibe that is contagious enough to captivate your soul, it’s no surprise that she credits soulful impresarios like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and Floetry as inspiration. With her own twist, Foxx creates spaced-out R&B that is undeniable.
Her debut self-titled EP, which was recorded on her friend’s laptop, was released via SoundCloud in 2015. She is now selling out shows and gaining recognition all across Europe. For her next step, Foxx plans to tap into her Nigerian-Lebanese roots, utilizing a mixture of styles for her project that is set to release at the top of 2018.
