Over the course of the last couple of months, several potential release dates for Eminem’s Revival album have floated around the internet. But today, the official date of release for the hip-hop king’s ninth studio solo album has been announced.
Eminem will end his four-year hiatus by dropping the full-length project on December 15.
The news, which first broke in a since-deleted tweet sent out by Target, was confirmed by the “Lose Yourself” rapper’s mentor Dr. Dre via Instagram.
The album’s first single, “Walk on Water,” was released earlier this month. Featuring supporting vocals from Beyonce, the track debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 100.
