When it comes to the year’s most unorthodox release strategy, N.E.R.D. holds the title.
For the rollout to their self titled album No One Really Dies (stylized as NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES), the group has done everything from release a lead single (“Lemon”), perform the entire album, and break down the recording process. To think, they did all of this without actually dropping the album. All of that changes on December 15.
Taking to social media, Pharrell announced No One Really Dies for a December 15 release.
N.E.R.D.’s first album in seven years features appearances from Gucci Mane, Wale, Kendrick Lamar, André 3000, Ed Sheeran, Future and more.
