Last week, JAY-Z paused his ‘4:44’ tour stop in Miami to address the crowd and dedicate a song to those facing discrimination. Now, he’s turned his attention to the youth.
On Sunday (November 19), while performing in Cleveland, he stopped the show to talk to a young girl standing in the audience. He encouraged her potential despite America’s obstacles and then, after discovering she was 9 years old, asked for her help in counting down to “Niggas in Paris.” See the moment below.
“You can be anything that you want to be in the world. I wanna tell you something: at this very moment, America is way more sexist than they are racist but you, young lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States, you believe that. You understand?”
